The Gift of 500: Limandaang Taong Kuwento ni Kristo
at ng Sambayanang Pilipino
is a three-part documentary on the Christianity’s enduring meaning to Filipinos. Each episode explores one of three primary gifts—fruits of the unique, continuous encounter between Catholicism and the Filipino experience: The Gift of Christ, The Gift of Family and Community, and the Gift of Mission.
With a script by acclaimed writer Floy Quintos and helmed by top professionals in the industry, The Gift of 500 paints a sweeping panorama of both the richness and challenges faced by the Filipino Catholic faith.
Every episode is designed as a free-wheeling essay on the gifts of Christianity that are tangible to God’s love over the past 500 years and, looking to the future, the call to evangelize may be spiritedly heeded by generations to come.
The Gift of 500 is a humble offering as part of our 500 Years of Christianity celebration, produced by the RCAM - Office for the Promotion of the New Evangelization, Mary Mother of Hope Chapel (Landmark–Makati), Greenbelt Chapel, and ST PAULS.
